DWI Awareness Event
12/03/2024
Terrace, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center
11:00 am - 01:00 pm
December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month. To highlight this important topic, The Counseling Center, Disability Services, and Health Services Department have teamed up with MCC's Public Safety and StopDWI Monroe County to provide an informative and interactive event today. This event will educate students on the dangers of impaired driving, share stories about people within our community who have lost their lives to drunk or drugged driving, and provide resources available to assist with making plans on how to avoid driving while impaired and finding safe rides to their destinations. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in mock sobriety tests, experience a video game simulator that demonstrates the effects of impaired driving, win prizes, and more! We hope to see you there.
