I want to take just a class or two.
Non-degree seeking (non-matriculated) students can choose to take a class or two at a time, without applying to the college for admission.
If you are a Degree-seeking student, skip this page and refer to the Apply for Admission page.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- If you’re taking a course to supplement your education at another college, make sure your credits will transfer by checking with that college.
- NOTE: To take a class or two at MCC, you may need to provide an unofficial transcript to show prerequisite compliance, score at the satisfactory level on placement testing or receive instructor permission.
- After you register, if you change your mind about taking a class, be sure to drop the course before the semester starts. Otherwise, you will be charged tuition.
AFFORDING YOUR EDUCATION
You can take a class or two without going through the college admission process. However, as a non-matriculated student you cannot receive financial aid. If you are interested in financial aid, please apply for admission to an MCC program.
By becoming an “official” part-time degree-seeking (matriculated) MCC student, your education becomes even more affordable, as you can apply for loans, grants and even MCC scholarships.
