Disney Program

Since Walt Disney College Program (DCP) representatives began visiting MCC in 1982, the college has had over 1,800 students participate in this truly unique Living, Learning and Earning work-study internship away from home. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and one that can significantly contribute to a student's development. This experience may also prove to confirm the students' career choice and provides college credit.

Students who are selected have the option to participate in the program at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida or Disneyland in Anaheim, California for either five or seven months in either fall or spring. As an intern, students are working, attending classes and enjoying many recreational and social activities.

Fall Disney College Program

Selected students will have the opportunity to choose their desired arrival and departure date range upon accepting their offer.

• Application Opens: Mid/Late January 2025
• Application Closes: April 2025 (exact date TBD)
• Arrival Dates: For the fall 2025 season, arrival dates will span from May 2025 and September 2025. 
• Departure Dates: Regardless of the arrival date, departure dates will not occur before January 2026.

Application Process: Students will first complete the online application. If they meet our minimum qualifications and are identified as a strong candidate, they will be invited to schedule a phone interview with the Disney Team. Selections will be based on application and interview results along with overall business need. As a reminder, the DCP is open to all majors and academic levels.

Attend a "Get to Know the Disney College Program" Virtual Information Session

These 45 minute sessions are a perfect way for students/parents/advisors to learn more about the overall program experience and how to apply in a Zoom webinar setting.

• Sessions begin on January 7th and run through January 30th. (3 sessions per week). 
• Register for a Disney Zoom Session – You can view all session date and times, and register for the offering that works best for you.
